The Penguins are Back!

sunny 70 °F

After a temporary leave of absence, the penguins are back at the Woodland Park Zoo! With a beautiful new habitat, these Peru natives looked right at home. Crowds of people swarmed the new exhibit on opening weekend, and I was there to celebrate in the festivities.

Next, I fed parakeets at the Willawong Station. Here birds fly overhead and visitors get the opportunity to feed them seeds.

Last, but definitely not least, I participated in a giraffe feeding! Branches in hand, I proceeded to be covered in giraffe drool as they used their 18 inch tongues to pull the leaves off the stems. A very interesting experiencing to say the least!

My next entry will be from London, England... with tickets to the Phantom of the Opera as my only itinerary thus far, anything could happen!
