From Abbey Road to Westminster Abbey

A day of contrasts

sunny 60 °F

Between Hyde Park, the Science Museum, a ride on the London Eye, Beatles sites, a full blown protest, and the Phantom of the Opera... phew... yesterday was a very busy day. It was a day of contrasts though, as you will see. From serene park walks to 45 arrests in Parliament Square, my camera came along to capture it all.

Last, on my quest to hit up the famed 'Abbeys' of London, I headed to Westminster Abbey, but as I stepped off the tube into the street, chaos was everywhere. What has been a fairly quiet protest in Parliament Square for the last several days, turned into something much more serious. I spent the next couple hours talking to those who were protesting and captured some images of the mess that was left behind. Here is a link to the news story.
