Wandering through the maze of aisles and stands, one could easily feel consumed by the tantilizing tricks and bright eye candy adorning every fixture. Inflatables and banners drape across the ceiling and rainbows of colors splash the walls. Gazing around the room I realize I am surrounded by adults doning Star Trek masks and finger puppets. This is defintiely not the place to be taken seriously. I came to Archie McPhee in search of an off the wall gift for my Dad's 50th birthday. Not wanting to ruin any suprises, I must simply say, mission accomplished.

Archie McPhee is a Seattle legend holding the distinguished "Seattle's Best Weird Toursit Attraction" award. Their blog is hilarious (where else can read about crazy customers sniffing gorilla costumes?!)With over 25 years in business, they are now outgrowing their Ballard locations and will be moving to Wallingford this summer.
